Pau D’Arco is also known as tabebuia impetiginosa, or taheebo is a tree that grows in rain forests throughout Latin America.

The inner lining of the bark is used for medical purposes and may help with various health problems. It can be used in supplement form and tea. According to  Tracii Hanes from Livestrong, it contains the compounds lapachol and beta-lapachone and has been used traditionally to treat fungal infections and inflammation. (1)
