Pycnogenol

Found in Maritime Pine tree bark Pycnogenol is extracted and made into a supplement. Rich in potent antioxidant substances called proanthocyanidins. To be called Pycnogenol the extract must be from the particular species of pine that grows along the Atlantic coast in Southern France. The name Pycnogenol is patented and means the extract must contain between 65 and 75% proanthocyanidins.
